The Conductor
Constructed from the popular Duelund DCA12GA tin-plated copper multistrand but sheathed in the thermoplastic resin compound that emulates Duelund`s CAST process as used in their capacitors and inductors. Thus making it suitable for power applications with a DC rating of 600Vs. The Conductor is 12 AWG made up of 65 strands of 0.25mm diameter strands. Superb for internal wiring your hi-fi equipment on the DC line or for making up your mains cable.
DCA12GA: External diameter 3.9mm, internal diameter 2.3mm.
The current rating is 35A at 35 degrees C

Premetto che sono nella sostanza un cavoscettico; quando un cavo di alimentazione risulta ben costruito e ben schermato, dotato di connettori di buona qualità e di sezione adeguata, abbiamo ciò che ci serve. Però sono anche in grado di percepire differenze in termini di risultato finale all'ascolto al cambiare dei cavi utilizzati.
Ebbene, con i cavi Duelund ho percepito un balzo in avanti riguardo alla pulizia del messaggio sonoro, con particolare riferimento alla percezione delle informazioni. Mai mi era successo in 50 anni di rilevare una così evidente crescita di dettaglio e microdettaglio nele mie incisioni.
Tutto appare più preciso, più leggibile e più tridimensionale.
Continuo a credere poco nelle magie regalate dai cavi, ma questi Duelund mi hanno davvero sorpreso in positivo.
