This tube is as close to an NOS Mullard as you can get although I have to given mention to the Svetlana EL34. It’s very good the way the JJ tubes break up better. They are very smooth and have the biggest low end of any current production EL34. The JJ E34L is the right choice for most applications simply because of it's extended low end and the fact that it's tighter and punchier.

Premetto che ero perplesso sulle recensioni lette in merito a questo tipo di valvola ed ho deciso di testarla personalmente. L'amplificatore dove ho provato la 6CA7 è un Unison Research simply two con EL34, abbinato a B&W 703. Nulla da eccepire riguardo le EL34 sempre JJ (testate anche Svetlana), cercavo però un suono leggermente meno marcato negli alti traslando la gamma leggermente verso il basso. In effetti le JJ 6CA7 hanno questa caratteristica, nel caso specifico del mio impianto la gamma alta è migliorata, meno penetrante ed i bassi sono controllati ma più profondi. Confermo perciò la validità del prodotto, sicuramente positivo nel mio caso, consiglio però un rodaggio di almeno 10/20 ore per apprezzare al meglio il suono che inizialmente risulta un poco ovattato.
