The NOS Mullard E88CC/01 / 6922 / CV2493 is a new never used tube, with low noise and long lasting, in original military box. Wonderful sonic quality, within the best of all times. Can be used in any E88CC/ECC88/6922/6DJ8 circuit/application.
Mullard CV2493 / E88CC-01 / 6922 / CCa single or matched pair brand new never used in Swedish Royal Air Force two-set styrofoam boxes with pristine gold pins and pin guards. Mullard never made better than these. They were produced at the Mullard Mitcham factory around mid 1970's as matched sets and have the famous dimpled disc getter. They have been recently released from the Royal Air Force's military surplus, so they are brand new with 10,000+ hours of life left on them.
The E88CC-01 / CV2493 is the premium version the Mullard E88CC / 6922 (think CCa from Siemens). They have all the body, weight, bass, impact, soul and amazing 3-D midrange that Mullard is famous for, yet the E88CC-01 adds an extended, airy, refined and detailed top end to give a fully balanced and comprehensive performance. You will be floored by their sound and will instantly know they are the best Mullards ever made in the 6DJ8 family.
These were matched at the factory and then retested every 5 years or so while they were on active duty with the Air Force, so they are at the best of the best and ready for action. We have fully retested and rematched them also for noise, gas and shorts.
If the selected pair is choosen, will be shipped carefully selected and matched pair, with very low loise and micro. When possible, identical product codes will be matched. Tubes comes with our certification containing the actually measured information. Perfectly matched quartets available.

A New Old Stock (N.O.S.) tube is an unused tube no longer in production. A N.O.S. tube is good today as it was originally, because the glass sealing techniques perfected long ago have been in use for years and years. A N.O.S. tube can potentially last a lot longer than modern tubes. When we have available a N.O.S. tube stock that comes from the same production run we carefully select them for gain, for section-to-section uniformity and for sensitivity to microphonics. Furthermore, a selected pair of tubes will only include low noise ones.

Sono sincero, ho acquistato una valvola MULLARD per il mio pre Audio Research LS2 ma ero scettico sull'esito finale dell'ascolto che potesse dipendere SOLO da una valvola, ma devo dire che effettivamente dopo un ascolto accurato di brani da me stra super conosciuti e dopo aver fatto scaldare il pre per circa un'oretta, il risultato finale è stato sorprendente.
L'Audio Research LS2 monta una 6922 SOVTEK e dopo la sostituzione il suono ne ha guadagnato in precisione, ricostruzione tridimensionale del fronte sonoro insomma...voto finale 10 con lode!
E' stato come togliere un velo davanti ai miei diffusori da poco acquistati - SONUS FABER LIUTO BLACK....sono veramente contento di aver speso BENE 100 Euro!!!

Sostituita la buona Philips Jan con questo nuovo acquisto sul mio amplificatore OTL per cuffia, e nonostante la necessità di doverla prima rodare per parecchie ore prima di dare un giudizio definitivo, già posso dire che non ha assolutamente rumore e presenta notevoli doti sugli alti e medi, definiti e presenti. Se migliorerà ancora di più con il tempo, si rivelerà veramente un buon acquisto. Spedizione ultra veloce!

Inserita al posto della Electro Harmonix ECC88 nel lettore CD Xindak Muse 1.0 deluxe, si è rivelata una valvola eccellente. Molto musicale, medio-alti eccellenti, bassi profondi e controllati. Vale ciò che costa per la resa. Consigliatissima.

Ho sostituito le Electro Harmonix 6922EH che avevo in dotazione nella sezione di preamplificazione del mio Xindak XA6200 con le Mullard ed è come aver tolto un bavaglio alle mie Sonus Faber Liuto da pavimento. Bassi decisamente più puliti e medio alti in primo piano. Totalmente soddisfatto dall'acquisto. Non ho molta esperienza nel settore ma il miglioramento risulta evidente anche all'orecchio più impreparato. Con questo cambiamento l'amplificatore integrato ha cambiato "carattere". Aspetto di rodarle un po' per capire se è ragionevole aspettarsi ulteriori miglioramenti.
