Excellent Chassis Vibration Control
The Vibrapod Cone provides excellent chassis vibration control without compromising bass. Kennard Industries tested many different configurations before arriving at this precise design and shape. Without the steel ball, the sound was softer and the bass lacked definition. With the steel ball in place, the bass was tighter and more accurate. They are an affordable alternative to audiophile isolation feet. These double-truncated cones are constructed of vinyl and tipped with a stationary 7/16" chrome ball, which you can remove and replace with any material 3/8" or 7/16" ball, if desired. With a 7/16" ball the maximum weight per cone is 25lbs [11,4 Kg.] per single cone. (Using a 3/8" ball the maximum weight is 10lbs [4.55Kg.]). You don't have a minimum weight with the Cones.
Use Vibrapod cones by themselves with amps, preamps, DVD players, and other AV gear. Or combine them with Vibrapod Isolators for complete isolation and vibration control. On smooth surfaces, the edges of the concave bottom act as a suction cup, helping to keep the Vibrapod Cones firmly coupled to the component.

Dopo aver letto varie recensioni, avevo gia` provato i vibrapod isolators model 1 come supporto per il lettore CD, con completa soddisfazione (peccato che i model 2 e 3 non siano disponibili). Ho deciso quindi di acquistare anche i coni per fare diverse prove, sia usandoli da soli che accoppiandoli agli isolator, come suggerito anche dal produttore. I risultati ovviamente possono essere diversi (in base al tipo di elettronica, al peso, ecc.), ma secondo me sono sempre soddisfacenti. I coni sono piu` rigidi degli isolator e quindi da soli possono essere usati anche per pesi importanti (come da specifiche). Io ne ho messi 4 sotto l'integrato da 14 chili. Non li ho provati sotto le casse perche` non ho questa esigenza, ma nel caso delle elettroniche consiglio di provarli.
Vibrapod Cone. Ideale per un lettore CD...
Ne ho presi 3 perché il mio lettore CD ha tre piedini, peraltro con un foro centrale perfetto per alloggiare il Vibrapod Cone.
Si avverte un miglioramento, non epocale, certo, ma c'è!
Li consiglio caldamente se si ha bisogno e voglia di ottimizzare il proprio impianto.
