The S15 leverages the highly praised AKM flagship DAC combination—AK4191 paired with AK4499EX. This innovative design separates the digital and analog components completely, integrating “DWA ROUTING Technology” to enhance sound clarity. The result is a quieter background, greater resolution, and a natural, effortless, and immersive listening experience.
To achieve exceptional decoding accuracy and digital output precision, the S15 employs two cutting-edge ACCUSILICON AS318-B ultra-low phase noise femtosecond oscillators (45.1584MHz and 49.1520MHz), rigorously screened for quality. These oscillators significantly minimize phase noise interference in audio signals, enabling the S15 to deliver reference-grade sound when paired with premium external decoders and amplifiers.
Furthermore, the S15 incorporates three flagship-level systems: the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660, the Qualcomm Bluetooth QCC5125 chip, and the XMOS 16-core XU316. This high-end configuration reflects years of refinement and expertise through successive flagship products, ensuring unparalleled stability and performance across a variety of listening scenarios for an exceptional audio experience.
Extensive Connectivity Options
The S15 features a wide range of digital and analog connectivity options, including I2S output, AES input/output, coaxial input/output, HDMI input/output/ARC, RCA line-out, optical input/output, and XLR balanced line-out.
Designed to meet diverse connectivity requirements, the S15 is built with carefully selected components to optimize sound quality throughout the entire audio system.
Both coaxial and AES outputs utilize digital audio isolation transformers, offering isolation performance similar to optical outputs.
The XLR port employs NEUTRIK’s tulip-style design, ensuring durability and stable connections. Meanwhile, the RCA outputs are crafted from gold-plated copper, with internal wiring made from oxygen-free copper to guarantee high-fidelity signal transmission with minimal loss.
Integrated and Intuitive Control
Equipped with a custom Android 12 system, the S15 includes a portrait-mode display interface that allows users to fully customize the desktop for a more personal and intuitive experience. The FiiO Music app has been specially optimized for horizontal screens, delivering seamless control over music playback and settings while supporting visual audio effects like VU meters for added functionality and enjoyment.
The 7.84-inch automotive-grade full-color display, combined with the all-new FIIO OS, ensures the S15 performs exceptionally well in various use scenarios.
Dual Knobs + Virtual Buttons: The dual physical knobs and virtual keys provide flexible, precise control, making quick adjustments more convenient for certain operations.
