Four earpiece transducers

The FiiO JH5 earphones implement four transducers. With a 10mm carbon-based dynamic driver, two balanced armature drivers for mid and high frequencies, as well as a third dedicated to ultra high frequencies, these earphones promise good musicality. Taking inspiration from premium hybrid earphones such as the FiiO FH9 and FiiO FH7, the development team combined design ideas to ensure a smooth transition between different drivers. The careful design of the balanced armature drivers, synchronized with the dynamic driver, ensures a natural sound stage and a smooth overall sound. Dual balanced armature drivers dedicated to mid and high frequencies allow the FiiO JH5 headphones to extend up to the highs, capturing every musical nuance and detail.

Bass enhancement

Precisely designed, the dynamic transducer of the FiiO JH5 earphones, equipped with two magnets, generates sound emitted from both the front and rear of the driver with opposite phases. The negative feedback bass amplifier skillfully guides low-frequency sound waves from the back to the front of the transducer, relieving pressure on the front of the transducer and reducing eardrum discomfort.

Thanks to the dual-cavity dynamic transducer, the FiiO JH5 earphones offer extended, fast and faithful bass, while reducing distortion to a minimum. The use of a unique double-layer cavity optimizes airflow control, allowing the diaphragm to move freely, without compromising sound quality. The FiiO JH5 earphones therefore represent the perfect balance between innovation, technology and sound quality.

The FiiO JH5 earphones are equipped with three independent driver chambers. Each chamber hosts a series of speakers dedicated to specific frequencies, eliminating interference between different transducers and keeping distortion to a minimum. This approach guarantees maximum performance, producing a natural and balanced sound at all frequencies.

Detachable cable

The FiiO JH5 earphones come with a detachable cable with two 2-pin 0.78 connectors and a 3.5mm mini-jack connector. The latter is composed of 392 strands of high-purity silver-plated copper, demonstrating FiiO's commitment to sound quality. Each of the 14 strands is twisted into small strands, then forming 7 small strands that make up one large strand. With a total of four large strands, this cable features a sophisticated structure to optimize conductive area and enhance high-frequency detail.
