MQA Support

The D70S MQA supports MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) files. These allow you to enjoy sound reproduction as close as possible to the original recording in the studio, while being light enough to be broadcast.

2xAKM AK4497

AK4497 is flagship model in AKM company. We use a full AK4497 for every channel in D70s, resulting in better channel separation. THD+N is extremely low.

Bluetooth 5.0

D70s has the certification of Hi-Res Audio Wireless and LDAC. It sues CSR8675 chipset to support LDAC/AAC/SBC/aptX-LL/aptX-HD protocol. To get even better sound quality from Bluetooth, we abandon the built-in DAC of CSR8675 and connect its digital signal to 2xAK4497 to decode.

USB XMOS Interface

D70s uses 2nd generation 16 core XMOS XU216, USB supports up to PC;M32bit768kHz, DSD512 native and MQA decode. With the help of customized Thesycon driver (for Win7 or above), your PC will have better performance on ASIO playback (no drivers needed for Mac).

AK4118 digital receiver

SPDIF inputs are associated with an AK4118 digital receiver chip. This allow to get a very low jitter while supporting sampling rates up to PCM 24bit 192kHz.

CPLD & Accusilicon Clocks

D79s applies the CPLD, focusing on the clock processing and signal optimization. CPLD combines with the Accusilicon femto-second to bring a lower jitter effect, while coordinates processing of digital signal optimization to effectively inmpoirve signal quality and stability.

Various input interfaces

D70s has various inputs: AES, USB, Bluetooth, Optical, Coaxial, I2S. Both USB and I2S support up to PCM 24bit 768kHz and native DSD512. AES, Optical and Coaxial support up to 24bit/192kHz. The Bluetooth input is compatible with the LDAC transmission codec, allowing the support of 24bit 96kHz files. The Topping D70S MQA also allows the choice of active outputs. It is possible to use only the balanced XLR output, the unbalanced RCA output or to output on both at the same time.

High compatibility I2S LVDS input
