Profile of Vladimir Tropp
Born in Moscow 1939. Mr. Tropp has been doing a lot of recital and performing with orchestra since the student days. After graduating college, he started teaching at Gnessin music college. At 1970 won the George Enescu International Competition. Since then, he has been playing in a lot concert around Europe and Japan.

This CD and SACD has been recorded using the latest DSD recording. Also to pursuit high quality recording, a lot of ACOUSTIC REVIVE`s products have been used. Such as Single Core power supply cable and mic cable, RR-77, RIQ-5010, RTP-6 evolution.

Furthermore, recording of three different microphone arrangement contained in one disc for the first time in the world!

This three microphone arrangement have recorded at the same hall, same pianist. So you can enjoy the difference of sound just by the microphone arrangement.

Sia i pezzi fantastici op. 12 che gli studi sinfonici op. 13 per pianoforte solo sono piccole gemme di purezza, brillantezza ed espressività, Schumann è un autore romantico ed il romanticismo sgorga da ogni sua nota, per cui non è sempre facile fare un'interpretazione fedele e coinvolgente delle sue opere. Il pianista russo Vladimir Tropp ci riesce perché non ha quell'enfasi propria di altri interpreti russi, quanto piuttosto riesce a trasmettere un intimismo ed una leggerezza alla scena sonora che, soprattutto in un ascolto in cuffia, ti avvolgono completamente.
La registrazione è incredibilmente pulita, da un punto di vista tecnico siamo su livelli di incisione perfetti (e da Acoustic Revive altro non ci si poteva aspettare), per cui mi sento di consigliare assolutamente questo CD, anche in ragione di un prezzo decisamente piccolo per la qualità del prodotto.
Ascoltato con: Euphya Symbiose 3.10 + Marantz SACD 7003 + Topping A90 + cuffie HifiMan Sundara.
